Smart Phone Pictures

We all use our smarts phones to take pictures on a daily basis. Our phones are always with in reach when we need to take a quick pic of our kids doing something cute, or we spot a beautiful patch of flowers on an afternoon walk. I know for me personally, I am constantly using my phone for pictures, but how do we give those phone pictures that amazing quality look? There are so many apps for smart phones out there, but which ones are worth the money and your time? I have downloaded tons of photo apps for my iPhone, and many of them either never get used, or I delete them because I don't like them. Nobody likes to waste money, so I am going to share my favorite apps! Most of you have heard of Instagram, and I love it! It's free, and had some editing in it. This app is limited on what you can do. Now depending on you are wanting, this will determine which apps you get. Some of the free apps, but my favorites do cost some money. I use photoshop some, and it works well. My favorite thing about photoshop is that I can use it to make my images more crisp and reduce the amount of grain or noise in them. I also love to use camera+ for actually taking my images. Like Instagram, there are some editing options in this app. It has more options than Instagram, but still someone limited. My favorite app is by Rad Lab which if any of you are familiar with is amazing! This app is called Pictapgo. It is about $2, but worth it! Here are some images with before and after shots using Pictapgo. Also if anyone is interested, I used Instaframe to frame all of these images.

This is a close up of one of my decorative drapes!

 How about black and white?

Here's a little more info about Pictapgo... There are lots of wonderful filters to choose from, and you can layer the filters or change the opacity of them.  I feel like there are so many options with Pictapgo that no other app I've used in the past can offer!
